Participants needed

An important area UPCA wish to develop is the importance of research for the theory and practice. Students are often looking for research participants for example see the request we have recently received from Chloe Simpson-Southward, a Trainee Clinical Psychologist from the Royal Holloway University of London.

What is the study about?

The study consists of a brief questionnaire that explores the decisions that psychological professionals make in their clinical work and whether this relates to their prior experience or training. The ultimate aim of this research is to help inform the development of training courses.

Who can take part?
Psychological professionals of any background profession, including trainees (psychotherapists, psychologists, counsellors etc.). Participants must be actively working clinically at the time of the study.

What will the study involve?
If you consent to take part, you will be presented with a short questionnaire. You will be asked demographic questions about yourself and your training/clinical experience. This will be followed by clinical vignettes and questions about clinical decisions.

Please click on the link below for a more detailed information sheet and to complete the questionnaire. The questionnaire should only take around 25-30 minutes. You can pause and return to complete your answers at a later date.
